camryn rooke
registered psychotherapist (qualifying)
Born and raised in Sarnia, ON, Camryn is deeply connected to her community and passionate about supporting local mental health needs. As a psychotherapist, she strives to create a warm, inclusive, and collaborative space where clients can explore their emotions, challenges, and goals at their own pace.
Camryn specializes in supporting bereaved children, teens, and young adults as they process and make sense of their grief. She is passionate about helping individuals honour their unique grieving processes while gently challenging the myths and unrealistic expectations that often surround grief.
In addition to grief work, Camryn supports children, teens, and young adults navigating life transitions, behavioural challenges, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and complex family dynamics. Her goal is to help clients build emotional awareness, resilience, and healthy coping strategies.
A key part of Camryn’s approach involves amplifying the voices of children and youth, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued. She also works closely with caregivers, offering guidance and insight to help them better understand and connect with their children.
Her approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to meet each individual where they are. Whether a client is processing a loss, navigating intense emotions, or seeking clarity during a difficult time, Camryn offers a safe and non-judgmental space to explore and grow.
Outside of the therapy room, Camryn enjoys hot yoga, browsing thrift stores, reading memoirs, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved cats.
