Bri dubowski
Bri (they/them) believes that therapy and counselling can help individuals attune to their experiences and access the insight needed for healing and growth. With a background in community mental health, Bri offers a supportive, collaborative space where clients can feel heard, work through difficult emotions, and explore new perspectives and possibilities.
Their practice is grounded in a client-centred approach, drawing on clinical modalities learned through their social work training, including cognitive, narrative, and solution-focused therapies. Bri firmly believes that criticism has no place in the therapeutic process.
Rooted in trauma-informed care and guided by a social justice lens, Bri’s work acknowledges the profound impact that systemic oppression can have on mental health. They support clients navigating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and substance use, while honoring the broader social and cultural contexts that shape these experiences.
Bri believes that healing happens through relationships—with the self, with others, and within community. They are committed to working alongside clients to uncover their unique needs in a way that remains true to who they are. Bri strives to create a space where individuals—particularly those who may not have previously found environments that honour their full, authentic selves—can feel welcomed, safe, and supported.
